Work In Your Pajamas

In-House Artist Studios/Workshops

Though creating art is your life, you may not prefer to sleep among the clutter that is often a byproduct of being creative. Don’t worry though. To save you the trouble of having to haul all your tools of the trade to some place miles away, the Armory Arts Village provides a number of public workspaces to the community. These areas are just a quick walk through the building and can be accessed at any time, because we know that the best ideas aren’t always born from 9 to 5.

Work areas include:

  • X [insert # of areas] shared artist studio workspaces
  • Two-story, large-scale industrial art production space
  • Ceramics/sculpture studio
  • Three generic class/workrooms
  • Multi-use performance/special events area

The use of these areas is self-governed by the Armory Arts residents, meaning they will collaborate with each other to determine who is working where, when and with whom. Working together in these areas effectively creates a stronger sense of community and belonging amongst all residents.
